Active Pianist, Accompanist and Bass Singer involving
extensively in both performing and teaching.
Over 220 public performances in Hong Kong, China, Taiwan, Singapore,
Malaysia and United Kingdom.
Teaching experience over 20 years.
Chairman of Aurora Music Association.
Collaborate maestro includes Yen Liang Kun, Kwok Dick Yeung,
Cao Ding, Chou Yun Chen, Yan Hui Chang, Alison So, etc..
Collaborate musical organisations including:
Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra,
Hong Kong Chinese Orchestra,
Aurora Vocal Society,
Spring Chorus,
Opera Society of Hong Kong,
Opera Hong Kong
and many others.
Keen on both Classical Music and Pop Improvisation.
Albert Kwong learnt piano with Madame Lui Man and Music theory with Mr. Lung King Kong when he was young. He had been participating frequently in the Schools Music Festival and various competitions during his primary and secondary school years.
He then furthered his studies in the UK, continuing his piano studies with Mrs. Lesley Boreham and Mr. Michael Davies, actively involving in all kinds of musical activities, and was awarded with several scholarships. He also won the second prize in the district Piano Competition in Hereford.
January 2012, he gained the invitation from LCSD to accompany Soprano Miss Pancy Wong at the opening of “Exhibition of Wut Man-chung’s works” to perform Dr. Mui Kwong-chui’s (one of Mr. Wut’s student) work in the ceremony at Hong Kong Central Library.
Recently, Albert regularly invites as guest host for some music programmes on RTHK and DBC Digital Radio.
